Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s party will announce plans to permit the use and possession of a certain amount of Marijuana for recreational use.

The new Marijuana laws are set to come into effect in the Summer of 2018, with Trudeau’s goal being July 1st.
Canada’s provincial authorities have been given the ability to set prices and age restrictions above 18.
The plans are expected to be announced in early April. Canada currently has legal medicinal marijuana but recreational use is illegal.
