Via Atlas News – The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the Manchester suicide bombing, which left 22 dead and 59 injured. The terror group posted the claim on the Telegram messaging app.
Police believe they have identified the bomber and are trying to determine if he actually had links to the terror group.
Three of the victims who died have been identified so far, one of which being an eight year old girl. A dozen girls under the age of 16 were said to be among the injured.
Police executed raids in southern Manchester and arrested a 23 year old in connect to the attack. A controlled detonation of a suspicious device was conducted as part of their investigation.
