Via The War Files–  Today over 160 people, with reportedly 50 children among them, were rescued from Marawi, the army said. However, at least 20 civilians and over 40 soldiers died today, according to military officials, who added that +120 terrorists were been killed. More than 2,000 civilians are still trapped in the city, which is besieged by over 300 Islamic terrorists. There have been reports of an imminent military assault in the city. The terrorists seem to be made up by a mix of men from local areas, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Chechnya and Morocco, who joined under the Islamic State banner.
