James Mattis says that Dreamers that are service members will not be deported

On Thursday in a news conference, Reuters reported that U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis stated that the United States would not be deporting service members that are here under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.

Until today there were around 800 service members that weren’t sure what their futures in this country looked like.

Mattis stated that the only acceptation to these deportations was if the service member had committed a serious felony or if a federal judge has signed deportation papers.
